                   I am to state that the Accounts Supervisors (94 Nos.) as shown in the annexure are selected for appointment to the post of Assistant Accounts Officer in the TANGEDCO Proceedings cited are allotted to your region against the existing vacancies.

          2)       I am to inform that with reference to Note (1) in Annexure-II referred to in Regulation 93 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations, orders of appointment and posting as Assistant Accounts Officer may be issued by you to the promotees under intimation to this Office.

          3)       It is certified that the above Accounts Supervisor possesses the requisite qualification to hold the post of Assistant Accounts Officer and hence their pay shall be fixed under Regulation 33(b) of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations.

          4)       I am also to request you to issue appointment and posting orders individually and to incorporate the following clause in the appointment and posting orders of the above promotees.

(i)	"If they do not join duty within the time indicated, their promotion orders will be cancelled and the next junior will be promoted".
(ii)	The above orders of appointment are issued without prejudice to the outcome of W.P.Nos.35486/2002,  and 17936/2003 pending before the High Court Madras.
