                              I am to inform that the Board has approved to fillup 4000 vacancies of ITI Helper by Direct Recruitment through Employment Exchange. The letter along with the notification dated.10.07.2013 has been sent to the Director, Employment and Training, Guindy, Chennai. Subsequently the candidates who have completed one year apprenticeship training in TANGEDCO/TNEB with the ITI qualification in the trade of Electrician or Wireman are called for to register their names from 02.09.2013 to 13.09.2013 in the Headquarters Complex, TANGEDCO, Chennai -2 through press advertisement dated.29.08.2013.

                            2) Some of the candidates had produced only the Apprenticeship training completion certificate issued by the offices of various distribution circles of TNEB. They have not produced the National Apprenticeship certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training, Government of India. Hence, their apprentice registration has not been accepted in the absence of National Apprenticeship Certificate or the genuineness of the completion certificates produced by them. However, in order to ensure that genuine apprentices are not left out, they have been asked to contact the respective Superintending Engineer to get the genuineness of

the certificates they possess. Hence, it is requested that when they approach for genuineness of the apprenticeship training completion certificate issued by the Board Engineers, I request you to certify the genuineness of that certificate after  verification of available records with intimation to this office immediately.
