PROCEEDINGS:-
In
the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation
Limited Proceedings first read above, the name of Tmty Hepzibah Samuel, Executive
Engineer/MRT/Virudunagar has been included in the panel (for the year
2011-2012) of Executive Engineers/Electrical suitable for promotion as
Superintending Engineers/Electrical.
But, due to initiation of disciplinary proceedings under 8(b) of TNEB
Employees' Discipline and Appeal Regulations read with Tamil Nadu Electricity
(Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010, against her in the
reference second cited, her name was
not considered for promotion to the post of Superintending Engineer/Electrical,
issued in the reference third cited.
2. In the reference fourth cited, the charges framed against Tmty Hepzibah Samuel,
EE/MRT/Virudunagar, o/o SE/Virudunagar E.D.C., has been dropped. Hence, Tmty
Hepzibah Samuel, EE/MRT/Virudunagar E.D.C., in her representation fifth cited, has requested for considering her name for promotion
to the post of Superintending Engineer/Electrical.
3. Consequent on the issue of orders, in the reference fourth cited, it is hereby ordered that
under Regulation 92 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board
Service Regulations, read
with the Tamil
Nadu Electricity (Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer
Scheme, 2010, Tmty Hepzibah Samuel, Executive Engineer/ MRT/Virudunagar/Virudunagar
Electricity Distribution Circle, is deemed to
have been

promoted and appointed (Notionally) as
Superintending Engineer/Electrical, in Class-I (Division-III, Category-1) of
the Tamil Nadu Generation and
Distribution Corporation Limited service
with effect from 28.06.2012 A.N., i.e. the date of joining of her junior, Tmty.S.Pearl Matilda, Superintending
Engineer/Electrical.

5. She is eligible for fixation of pay
in the post of Superintending Engineer as per note-2 under regulation 37 of
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations, read with
the Tamil Nadu
Electricity (Re-organisation and
Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010. As Tmty
Hepzibah Samuel, Executive Engineer/MRT/Virudunagar/Virudunagar Electricity
Distribution Circle had not actually acted as Superintending Engineer, her pay
shall notionally be
fixed with effect from 28.06.2012 A.N. (i.e.) the date of joining of her junior, Tmty.S.Peral
Matilda, Superintending Engineer/Electrical.
6. The Superintending Engineer/Virudunagar
Electricity Distribution Circle is
requested to relieve the official under orders of promotion and posting immediately by making local
arrangement without waiting for substitute and instruct her to join at the new
post before expiry of
joining time. A report should be sent
to the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution
Corporation Limited regarding the date
of relief and
date of joining
of the official. This will be apart from the Certificate
of Transfer of Charge.
7. An option format is enclosed
herewith. Tmty Hepzibah Samuel,
Executive Engineer/MRT/Virudunagar/Virudunagar Electricity Distribution Circle is
requested to return
the option format duly
filled in, within one
month from the date of
promotion and assumption of charge. If
the option format is not received within the said period of one month, her pay
in the higher post will be fixed
as specified in paragraph-3 of Board's Memo. No.75406/P1/90-1, dated 19.3.1991.
