இது தொடர்பாக தமிழ்நாடு மின்உற்பத்தி மற்றும் பகிர்மான கழகம் இன்று வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக்குறிப்பில், "தமிழ்நாடு மின்உற்பத்தி மற்றும் பகிர்மான கழகத்தின் இணையதளம் (www.tnebnet.org) மூலம் வழங்கப்படும் சேவைகள் 25.7.2014 மாலை 4 மணி முதல் 26.7.2014 மாலை 6 மணி வரை சில தொழில் நுட்ப மேம்பாட்டு செயல்களின் நிமித்தம், தற்காலிகமாக நிறுத்திவைக்கப்படவுள்ளது.

அத்தருணங்களில் இணையதளம் (www.tnebnet.org) மூலம் மின்கட்டணம் செலுத்தும் சேவை, மின் கட்டண நிலையை அறிதல், மின்னஞ்சல் சேவை, ஒப்பந்தப்புள்ளி தொடர்பான சேவைகள் வழங்க இயலாது. இருப்பினும் அக்காலங்களில் நுகர்வோர் தங்களுக்கு அருகாமையில் உள்ள மின்வாரிய பிரிவு அலுவலகங்களில் வழக்கம் போல தங்களது மின் கட்டணங்களை செலுத்துமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்படுகிறார்கள்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மேட்டூர் அணையில், மின் வாரியத்தில், ஒப்பந்த தொழிலாளராக ராதாகிருஷ்ணன் என்பவர், 14 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேல் பணியாற்றினார். பின், 2008, ஜனவரியில், தற்காலிக ஊழியராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். 2009, ஜூனில், பணி முடிந்து திரும்பும்போது, சாலை விபத்தில் பலியானார். கருணை வேலை கோரி, ராதாகிருஷ்ணனின் மனைவி கவிதா, மேட்டூர் மின்பகிர்வு வட்ட கண்காணிப்பு இன்ஜினியரிடம், விண்ணப்பித்தார்.
