                   The  12 (Twelve) Diploma Holders employees  mentioned in the Annexure enclosed who have been selected for appointment as Junior Engineer/Civil II Grade by Internal Selection against category 5 under Division-I Class III in Annexure-I to Regulation 92 of T.N.E.B. Service Regulations. They are allotted to the circle noted against their names as indicated in the Annexure.

                   2.  The Superintending Engineers concerned are requested to issue orders of appointment as Junior Engineer/Civil II Grade to the said employees under Regulation 106(a) of TNEB Service Regulations and issue posting orders in their circles.

                   3. The Superintending Engineers concerned  may be directed to produce the Physical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Officer not lower in rank than that of a Civil Surgeon at the time of joining duty as J.E/Civil II Grade. If their/his/her vision are not normal then they/he/she have/has to produce a Special Certificate from an Eye specialist employed in a Government Hospital furnishing the particulars mentioned in the Annexure to the form of P.F.C.  The P.F.C. may be verified as per existing instructions and the same may be retained.

                   4.  The Superintending Engineers concerned are also requested

i.	To confirm the genuineness of the Educational Qualification (i.e) Diploma inCivil  Engineering possessed by the Employees.
ii.	To confirm whether the employees possessed adequate knowledge in Tamil language and
iii.	To enclose Physical Fitness Certificate alongwith the allotment order.

                   5. The individuals may also be informed that he/she/they should join duty within two weeks from the date of relief from the present post, failing which it will be taken that he/they are not interested to accept the appointment and further action will be taken to cancel their appointment.

          6.  No representation for change in the allotment made will be entertained.

          7. The Superintending Engineers concerned are requested to report the date of relief/joining of the individuals.

          8.  It is also hereby certified that the above individuals are fully possess the required qualification to hold the post of J.E/Civil II Grade and her/his/their pay can be fixed under the usual terms and conditions as per B.P. Ms.(F.B) No.95 (S.B) dt.20.11.1985.

          9.  The attention of the Superintending Engineers concerned is invited to this office instructions issued in Memo No.100855/515/G42/G423/2002-1 dt.30.8.2002 and adhere the instructions strictly.

          10.  The Serial Nos.1, 3, 4,6,8,   in the Annexure are not eligible for Transfer Travelling Allowance.
