PROCEEDINGS:-

          In the reference second cited, orders have been issued implementing Promotional Avenues to the Regular Work Establishment employees in Thermal Stations based on the Settlement entered into between the Unions and the TANGEDCO, Dated : 26-3-2012 under Section 18 (1) of the Industrial Disputes          Act 1947.  In the said order, it has been ordered, among other things, that upgradation of the Selection Grade Helpers as Supernumerary Fitter Gr.II will be considered.  The above demand of upgrading the Selection Grade Field Assistants (Selection Grade Helpers) as Supernumerary Fitter Gr.II was placed before the Meeting of the TANGEDCO Board held on  23-4-2012 and approved.

             The  following Junior Engineers/ Electrical II Grade detailed in the Annexure-I enclosed to this memo are informed that their names  have been  included in the panel for promotion as Junior  Engineer/ Electrical I  Grade as per clauses 106 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulation.

            2.  The Junior Engineers/Electrical.II.Grade detailed in the Annexure-II are not selected for inclusion in the panel for promotion as Junior Engineer/Electrical I Grade. They are also informed that any appeal against their non-selection lies  with the Chairman-cum-Managing Director/TANGEDCO, within a period of two months from the date of communication of the approved list. If no appeal is received within the said period the approved list communicated will be deemed final.

            3. The Junior Engineers/Electrical II Grade detailed in the Annexure-III are informed that their cases are deferred at present and their cases will be examined latter.

                        The receipt of this memo may be acknowledged.
