Sub: Appointment of Assistant Programmers - Adhoc regulations framed - Changes in the Method of Appointment and Qualification - Orders - Issued.

          In partial modification of the orders issued in para-3 of the Proceedings cited, the following orders are issued:-

(i)    for the existing condition prescribed in "(C) Method of Appointment" in the Adhoc Regulations, the following condition shall be substituted:-

"The appointment to the post shall be made by Direct Recruitment or by Internal Selection from the officials in Class-III and IV Services (both Provincial and RWE Cadres) who are having requisite qualifications".

(ii)    for the existing condition prescribed in "(f) Qualification" in the Adhoc Regulations, the following condition shall be substituted:-

"No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post unless he possesses the following qualifications:-

B.Sc.(Computer Science) and Bachelor of Computer Applications; or Bachelor of  Arts/Commerce/Science or any other equivalent Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications obtained from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; or Master of Computer Applications".

          2. The receipt of this Memorandum may be acknowledged in the slip enclosed.
