In the Tamil
Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited Proceedings read above, the name of Thiru
A.V.Ravi, Executive Engineer/Electrical has been included in the panel (for the
year 2011-2012) of Executive Engineers/Electrical suitable for promotion as
Superintending Engineers/Electrical.

Consequent on the above orders, under Regulation 92 of the
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service
Regulations, read with
the Tamil Nadu
Electricity (Re-organisation and
Reforms) Transfer Scheme, 2010, Thiru A.V.Ravi, Executive Engineer/
Operation/Kayathar/Tirunelveli Electricity Distribution Circle, is deemed to
have been promoted and appointed (Notionally) as Superintending
Engineer/Electrical, in Class-I (Division-III, Category-1) of
the Tamil Nadu Generation and
Distribution Corporation Limited service
with effect from 01.12.2011 A.N.,
i.e. the date of joining of his junior Tmty.S.Geetha, Superintending
Engineer/Electrical.
3. Thiru A.V.Ravi, Executive
Engineer/Operation/Kayathar/Tirunelveli Electricity Distribution Circle
on promotion is posted as Superintending Engineer/Basin Bridge Gas Turbine
Power Station/Chennai in the existing vacancy..

He is eligible for fixation of pay in the post of Superintending Engineer as
per note-2 under regulation 37 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations,
read with the
Tamil Nadu Electricity
(Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010. As Thiru A.V.Ravi, Executive
Engineer/Electrical had not actually acted as Superintending Engineer, his pay
shall notionally be fixed
with effect from 01.12.2011 A.N. (i.e.)
the date of joining of his junior Tmty.S.Geetha, Superintending
Engineer/Electrical.

The Superintending Engineer/Tirunelveli Electricity Distribution Circle is requested to relieve the official under
orders of promotion and posting
immediately by making local arrangement without waiting for substitute and
instruct him to join at the new post
before expiry of joining time. A report should be sent to
the Tamil Nadu Generation and
Distribution Corporation Limited regarding
the date of
relief and date
of joining of the
official. This will be apart from the
Certificate of Transfer of Charge.
6. An option format is enclosed herewith. Thiru A.V.Ravi, Executive Engineer/
Electrical is requested
to return the
option format duly filled
in, within one month
from the date
of promotion and assumption of charge.
If the option format is not
received within the said period of one
month, his pay in the
higher post will be fixed as specified in para-3 of Board's Memo.
